Real Experiences:
The Impact of Kung Fu Training

Hear from Students Who Have Transformed Through Kung Fu

I don’t think you can find this type of school anywhere, or they are far and few between.

This uniqueness demands a look and to get into class to see how it goes.

The discipline required to keep going is a good lesson to apply to all other aspects of life and the knowledge gained about yourself guides you on how to handle all those other life situations. Keep training and the rewards will continuously reveal themselves in subtle ways.

There’s always something to keep improving or learning.

He teaches you with passion, and makes you feel like you belong.

I am a student here and I have never once felt judged.  If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!

You won’t find a better school or teacher.

Mr.Bronson and Ms. Phoenix have taught me to be strong and independent, to think for myself, and be a leader. Honestly their impact on my life has been tremendous and I don’t know where I would be or what I’d be doing if it wasn’t for their guidance.

You won’t find a better school or teacher.

I definitely would not be the person I am today without it.

Mountain warrior has made a huge impact on me, I joined when I was 5 so I’ve been apart of the program for quite a while. It’s changed the way I think in so many ways and I definitely would not be the person I am today without it.

I have absolutely loved Kung Fu as a whole, I believe it has made me so much stronger not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. I’ve been in Mountain Warrior for 10 years and I grown so much as a person. I have been pushed so hard to be my personal best, and even though the physical strain is very difficult it’s well worth it and I still can’t believe how far I’ve come. I know from my parents perspective they feel way safer knowing I can defend myself and that I have the agility, confidence, strength, and overall ability to do so. In today’s society I think it’s important for young people especially girls to learn how defend themselves in a safe environment that pushes them in the physical sense and teaches them important habits and self discipline. I think it’s super fun and I’ve really enjoyed moving through the levels.

If anyone is thinking of joining they totally should, just in terms socially speaking it’s helped me be more confident in myself, I’ve made some amazing friendships that I know I will have for years. I think it’s a great investment, and definitely worth it.

I’m grateful for officially starting my Martial Arts journey here with Instructor Sifu Bronson and fellow students.

We all start as a plank of wood, but with Proper Martial Technique, sanding Repetition, polish waxing Refinement, we develop Discipline and can really Shine as Top Quality Warriors.

Mr Bronson is one of the best teachers of ANYTHING I’ve ever encountered.

I love the community, and the teacher is excellent. If you find a good teacher, stay with that activity, no matter what the activity is. A good teacher is worth his weight in gold, and Mr Bronson is one of the best teachers of ANYTHING I’ve ever encountered.

Mr Bronson is deeply perceptive. My family and I have been much enriched by our work with him. During some hard times, he kept me sane and made me strong. I can’t recommend this school enough!

My daughter and I have gotten much stronger in every way, and we found a wonderful community. Our lives have improved in more ways than just martial arts – we’ve hugely improved how we eat, and I’ve embarked on a wonderful journey of herbalism, thanks to Mr. Bronson and his wife. In addition to the martial aspect of kung fu, I’ve learned Qigong, which is helping me a lot.

You should definitely join!

Living a vibrantly healthy life, one that boldly and honestly holds my priorities straight.

Initially I was looking for a place to form friendships and build community after high school, a place to invest athletically and learn brand new skills. I zeroed in on pursuing a martial arts school because I travel and wanted to have some useful defenses in my back pocket (plus, the martial arts intrigued me) so I went to the five martial arts schools found in McMinnville and either participated in or watched at least one class. My last school lead was Mountain Warrior. After watching a week’s worth of classes and taking a private intro class the school impressed me as a dynamically new flavor, one I’d been seeking, and I signed on. Five years later I am still here and I’ve never regretted the investment.

This school of the warrior arts firmly brings my focus back to what is important: living a vibrantly healthy life, one that boldly and honestly holds my priorities straight. MWKF is helping me equip to better walk my path and doing so through a consistent emphasis on eating good quality foods, recognizing stress and releasing it, allowing rest and nature time, getting outside, choosing kindness and respect, and Exercising. How thankful I am to have an exercise plan of such variety and with such a meaningful goal= protecting myself and those around me!

If you stick with it, it will change your life.

I really see the value in this program. I went and visited all the martial arts school around town and I landed here because of the people, philosophy, dedication, wisdom, and the practical self defense woven into thousands of years of fighting and warriorship. And, my daughter felt safe here, which was the most important at the time. It was the only place I was greeted by students and the teacher. I started at age 46 to support my autistic daughter in classes. Both of us are still going there 8 years later and we don’t plan to stop.

The philosophies and the warrior path teachings literally got me through some of the hardest times in my life off the mat. And it’s given me purpose and strength as I age. I love how Sifu says that we are working on making that downward curve as we age as slow as possible. For my daughter, confidence, self defense skills, and the mindset to work through some trauma. Not to mention keeping us healthy.

If you stick with it, it will change your life.

The school doesn’t focus on matching anyone else, but on self improvement.

There is a lot of hard work and dedication that goes into this process of self learning and strength.  A phase that Sifu says often is “the biggest room, is the room for improvement” and he helps us to improve and reach our goals along this journey

Usable techniques that support my parenting style of common sense.

Incredibly useful, healthy technique and old world philosophies supporting common sense health and martial art techniques that are nixed and street usable
